PECAN PIE RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned or instant oats
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (15 oz.) LIBBY'S® 100% Pure Pumpkin
  • 1 can (12 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • Whipped cream
PECAN PIE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
First of all PREHEAT oven to 350°F.

And then COMBINE flour, oats, brown sugar and butter in small mixer bowl. Beat at low speed for 1 to 2 minutes or until crumbly. Press on bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Next is to BAKE for 15 minutes.

COMBINE granulated sugar, pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs and pumpkin pie spice in large mixer bowl. Beat at medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes; pour over crust.

BAKE for 20 minutes. Combine pecans and brown sugar in small bowl. Sprinkle pecan topping over filling. Continue baking for 15 to 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Top with whipped cream.

JACK DANIELS BOURBON PECAN PIE


This is a favorite during thanksgiving holidays.
PECAN PIE RECIPE INGREDIENTS
  • 2 grade A large eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1/4 cup dark Karo syrup
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons corn starch
  • 8 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniels bourbon
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 bag pecan halves
PECAN PIE RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix eggs and Karo.
Combine sugar and corn starch, add to egg mixture.
Melt chocolate and butter, cool. Add bourbon and combine with egg mixture. Beat together in mixer on slow speed.
Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle evenly with pecan halves.
Bake on cookie sheet for one hour. Pie should be firm and will "set-up" while cooling.

Note: If this is made using other brands of bourbon it may not taste as good. Toucan use the premade tart shells for easier handling at parties and social gatherings.

To make an impressive looking pie, lay the pecan halves on top in a circle around the edge and keep making circles until the pie top is covered rather then sprinkling them on top.

This amazing pecan pie recipe is wonderful any time of the year. Serve this pecan pie with whipped cream, ice cream or a nice cup of coffee.
Ingredients
  • 1 (9 inch) Unbaked Pie Crust
  • 36 individually Wrapped Caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 3/4 cup White Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Pecan Halves

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. On the stovetop over low heat, combine caramels, butter and milk in a small saucepan.
3. Stir frequently until smooth.
4. Remove caramel mixture from the heat, set aside.
5. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla and salt in a large bowl.
6. Slowly mix in the caramel mixture, so the eggs don’t scramble.
7. Add the pecans.
8. Pour pecan pie mixture into pie crust.
9. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until edges of crust is golden brown.

Ingredients :
  • 1/4 cup Butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Pecan Halves
  • 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • Pastry for 2 crust pie
  • 6 cups sliced Baking Apples
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 450 F.
2. Spread butter on bottom and sides of glass pie plate. Arrange pecans on bottom and sides or pie plate.
3. Sprinkle brown sugar over top of pecans and press to hold pecans in place.
4. Roll out bottom crust. Allow for enough dough to over hang pie plate ½”. Place crust in pie plate over sugar and pecans.
5. In a medium-mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, lemon juice, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
6. Pour apple filling into pie crust.
7. Roll out top crust. Place over apple pie filling and seal edges with bottom crust.
8. Prick top crust with fork.
9. Bake 10 minutes, then lower oven to 350 F and bake additional 40-45 minutes.
10. Remove from oven.
11. When pie filling stops bubbling, place serving plate over pie and invert.
12. Carefully remove pie pan.

Ingredients:

* 9" pie shell
* 2 cups small pecan halves
* 1/3 cup butter
* 1 cup packed brown sugar
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 3 eggs
* 1/2 cup light corn syrup
* 1 tablespoon vanilla
* 1/2 cup large pecan halves

INSTRUCTIONS:
Place 2 cups small pecan halves on a cookie sheet and toast in a 350 degrees F oven for 8-12 minutes, shaking the pan once during baking time, until the pecans are fragrant. Let cool completely, then coarsely chop.

When ready to make the pie, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place unbaked pie crust in freezer until ready to bake. Then line pie crust with aluminum foil and pie weights or dried beans. Bake pie shell until set, about 5-6 minutes. Remove the foil and weights and bake 2-3 minutes longer until crust is just beginning to brown on the edges.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat; mix in sugars and salt with wire whisk until butter is absorbed. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then beat in corn syrup and vanilla.

Place saucepan over very low heat. Cook and stir constantly with wire whisk until mixture is hot and looks shiny, about 6-7 minutes. You have to stir constantly so the mixture cooks evenly and the eggs don't scramble on the bottom of the pan. Remove from heat and strain into a large bowl (this is important!), then stir in the cooled, toasted pecans.

As soon as the pie shell comes out of the oven, decrease oven temperature to 300 degrees. Pour pecan mixture into hot pie crust. Place large pecan halves on top of the filling in a decorative pattern.

Bake the pie until center feels set but soft when gently pressed, and moves slightly when gently jiggled, about 40-55 minutes. You may need to cover the edges of the crust with foil to prevent over browning, or cover the top of the pie with foil so it doesn't get too brown. Transfer pie to wire rack and let cool completely, at least 4 hours. Best eaten within 12 hours. The Pecan pie recipe is ready to serves 6-8 persons...nice one ! Great !
